Preparing for Marriage and Selecting a Spouse

 

1.     How should a spiritually minded person prepare for marriage?

2.      Write a short paragraph describing the type of person who is mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually prepared to marry.

3.      What are the qualities a spiritually minded person should seek in a spouse? Which qualities are common to both men and women, and which are different for men and women?

4.      Summarize the content of the following verses and explain how each should or should not affect the search for a spouse.

j.         Titus 2:1-8

5.      Read Genesis 24 and summarize the elements within the story that provide insight into Abraham’s plan for Isaac and into the faith of those involved.
