My Relationship with Others

 

1.      What is the rule for our dealings with other people? (Matthew 7:12; 22:37-40)

2.      What does John say about loving others in 1John 3:10-18; 4:20-21?

3.      Read Luke 10:25-37. Did Jesus answer the man’s question from verse 29? How is Jesus’ question in verse 36 different from the lawyer’s question in verse 29?

4.      Read Romans 12:9-16. Make of list of each of the clauses within that passage and write down a specific example of how a Christian could apply that exhortation in his dealings with others.


 

5.      What do the following verses teach us about forgiving others?

a.     Matthew 6:14-15

b.     Luke 17:3-4

c.     Colossians 3:12-13

6.      How will sincerely loving my neighbor impact my view of his soul? (Mark 5:18-20; 16:15-16)

7.      Why is it sometimes hardest to talk to those that we love about the gospel of Christ?

8.      Read John 13:1-7, Galatians 6:1-5, and Philippians 2:3-4. What are these three passages teaching us about how we view ourselves in relation to others?

9.      What did the people in the passages below do to serve others?

a.     Acts 4:32-37

b.     Acts 9:36-39

c.     Acts 16:14-15

10. What can I do to be a servant to others?
